Massachusetts Voter Roll Analysis Flags Widespread Federal Violations:
A recent analysis of Massachusetts voter registration data, performed exclusively with official state-provided records by an experienced data team with the Fair Elections Foundation, has uncovered hundreds of thousands of registrations in violation of federal law. The detailed findings have been shared with local election clerks across the state so they can make the required corrections and bring the rolls into compliance. The Fair Elections Foundation will monitor the clerks’ progress as the elections approach.
MA 4 Fair Elections Continues Grassroots Advocacy on Election Processes
BOSTON — MA 4 Fair Elections, a non-partisan grassroots organization, is actively engaged in monitoring Massachusetts and federal election laws and proposed legislation while encouraging public participation in the legislative process. Founded in 2021 by volunteers connected to Cause of America, the group’s mission is to ensure elections are conducted lawfully and verifiably so results remain certifiable and reflect the will of the people. Volunteers meet weekly via Zoom to plan activities that include public records requests, voter-roll reviews, and outreach to local election officials.
Public sub-committees focus on areas such as non-citizen registration processes, election certification accountability, hand-counting of paper ballots, and collaboration with related groups like Unite 4 Freedom. In 2023 the organization formed the Committee for Massachusetts Voter Identification Ballot Question and collected more than 40,000 verified signatures in an unsuccessful effort to place a voter-ID measure on the 2024 ballot.
The organization regularly issues “Legislative Calls to Action” on its X account, @MAFairElections, supplying constituents with sample scripts and contact lists for lawmakers. Recent examples include outreach opposing bills related to election infrastructure upgrades, permanent mail-in voting expansions, and changes to legislative audit authority.

In March 2026, volunteers visited the State House to express opposition to several bills under review by the Joint Committee on Election Laws and other Committees. The group specifically cited proposals involving ranked-choice voting and extending municipal voting rights to non-citizens. The group helped to prevent these bills, and more, from being reported favorably out of Committee.
In addition, MA 4 Fair Elections has shared findings from its analysis of official statewide voter data with local clerks, noting suspected duplicate registrations and stating it will monitor corrective actions. The group has also indicated interest in pursuing voter-identification and mail-in voting ballot questions for the 2027 cycle.
